When decorating should doors be painetd ligher or darker shade than the walls.?
Usually, they are painted a lighter color. However, in some spaces, doors, especially closet doors, can be painted to add interest and flare to an otherwise boring wall. It all depends on your taste and how your room is decorated. If you might sell your home in the near future, I would stick to white, because it is more appealing on the resale side of things.
