When creating embedded links in a study report PDF, how do I make the text blue to indicate that there is a link?

• A: The text in a PDF originates in the source document and will take on the appearance as it is in that document. If the source document is available electronically (ie. word processor), then decide prior to creating the PDF file which text will be used for the link – make this text blue. When creating the actual link in the PDF, you may set the Link Properties>Appearence>Type to “Invisible rectangle” if you choose since the blue text will indicate the presence of the link. If the source document is not available electronically and is, instead, being scanned, then the color of the originating text can not be modified. In this case, when creating the link in the resulting PDF file, make sure that Link Properties>Appearence>Type is set to “visible rectangle” and the color is set to blue. This will create a blue box around the text that is to be the link.
