A normal blood sugar level should be around 70 to 100. After eating meals it could elevate to about 135 to 140. This is usually normal since your body is still trying to break down the sugars and covert that sugar into energy. If your blood sugar level rises to about 180 to 200ish, you are looking at a health problem. This is a prime time to go to the doctor to get checked out. If your doctor does not put you on insulin in some form, they well closely monitor your sugar levels to see the fluctuations in them. As for low blood sugars: 60-65ish will give you shakes, feeling a lil hungry, possible nervousness associated with it. Usually people that have a tendency to hit this level will know this is a sign that they need to eat. Anything below 50 is where you need to worry.
