Everyday, more and more vehicles equipped with advanced environmental technologies enter the Canadian market. Vehicle manufacturers are continually introducing technologies into their new vehicle offerings, such as variable valve timing and continuously variable transmissions, to name a few, that improve fuel economy and reduce harmful emissions. Additionally, research and manufacturing technology developments continue to yield greater efficiencies in the manufacturing and production of alternative vehicle technologies, including plug-in hybrids and fully electric vehicles.
