We expect the F1 oil palm hybrids to offer unrivalled value for oil palm plantations and farmers. With yield expected to be three times higher, Sumatra Bioscience expects demand for the F1 hybrid oil palm varieties to be strong. Sumatra Bioscience expects to commercialise the production of our F1 oil palm hybrids by 2018, following extensive field testing. We plan to eventually produce F1 oil palm hybrids in mass quantities to meet market demand.
