When can the landlord recover possession for holiday letting?
Schedule 2 of the Housing Act 1988 provides that a landlord can recover possession for holiday letting when: • the tenancy is a fixed term tenancy for 8 months or less; and • the landlord gives notice to the tenant that the tenancy may be recovered on this ground; and • at some time during the last 12 months the property was occupied as a holiday letting.
