When can Robin Quivers be seen at the Joan Rivers Roast show?
Robin Quivers has signed on to ridicule Howard Stern Show favorite Joan Rivers at her upcoming Comedy Central roast. While positions on Comedy Central roast panels are frequently filled by Howard Stern Show co-host Artie Lange and regular guest Greg Fitzsimmons, Robin Quivers is stepping into relatively unfamiliar territory. After announcing her upcoming appearance at the Joan Rivers roast, Robin Quivers said that she would be hiring a writer to help her prepare jokes for the event. The Howard Stern Show cast discussed possible topics for Robin Quivers to cover including Joan Rivers’ age, extensive plastic surgery, annoying daughter Melissa Rivers and dead husband Edgar. Other roasters scheduled to appear include: Richard Belzer, Gilbert Gottfried, Jeffrey Ross and Lily Tomlin. Kathy Griffin will act as Roast Master. Robin Quivers showed up late to The Howard Stern Show Monday morning after hopping a red-eye back from her performance at the Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers in Los Angeles. Robin Quivers gave Howard Stern Show listeners a preview of what to expect at the Joan Rivers Roast which airs on Comedy Central on Sunday, August 9th at 10:00PM. Robin Quivers said that there was one subject that Joan Rivers had said was absolutely off-limits: jokes about Joan’s daughter Melissa Rivers. Howard Stern called shenanigans on Joan Rivers for banning jokes about her daughter, stating that Melissa Rivers was a celebrity and fair game. Robin Quivers recalled her own roast, during which none of the panelists seemed to have a problem bringing up her history of sexual molestation.
