When can residents begin to recycle their CEDs at no cost, convenient, accessible collections?
When the law takes effect, recyclers will be able to submit bills to manufacturers for covered costs. Municipalities will have collection programs in place by that time and residents may then recycle their CEDs at no cost. Please note that on January 1, 2011, there will be a disposal ban for all CEDs, meaning no CEDs can be disposed of in the trash.
