When can new faculty and staff activate their NetIDs?
Faculty and staff can typically activate their NetID the first day that they are on the payroll. This may not be the day they start their job. In some cases, the distributed computer support person in their college or department may have already activated a NetID and password. If so, the new faculty or staff member should change the password and enter a challenge question as soon as possible.
