The average woman’s cycle is 28 days. Fourteen days after you have your period, you ovulate. That egg is viable for 24 hours. After that, the egg is discarded, and two weeks later the lining of your uterus is shed, hence your period. On the first day of your missed period, the HCG hormone levels are generally high enough that you can get an accurate read. The “early” pregnancy test aren’t necessarily accurate. Unfortunately all of our bodies are made different. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Do you have health insurance? If you do I strongly suggest going to a doctor. If not then I suggest finding a planned parenting in your area or a low-income doctor in your area that does what some call “sliding fees” where they base what they make you pay to your income. Hopefully a professional ob/gyn or doc will answer your question, I wish I could help. The only thing I can tell you is I know I had a friend who had an abortion. She took a pregnancy test 2 weeks later and it said she was preggo. Well the doctor told her that the test could still come back positive for a month or two until all the hormones or something like that was out of her system. This is the only info I’m 100% on. I would think it would be a bit diffi
