When can i switch to cows milk, formular is very expensive my son is 9 months old. :)?
My daughter’s dr said at our 9 month appt to switch her over to a sippy cup! Once she is completely on the sippy, I could start introducing cow’s milk an ounce for an ounce! I would go 3-5 days before upping to the next ounce cause she sometimes had a hard time with it! I went to walmart and got a soft-tipped sippy and had no issues switching her over!! By a year, she was completely on cow’s milk and it didn’t rip her poor stomach to shreds like a lot of parent’s do! They say at a year to switch them over! I know parent’s who completely take them off formula on their one year bday and start giving them regular milk and these poor kids are sick for a couple weeks! If you do it gradually, it’s much easier on their bellies!!! Good Luck!
