When can i find out what my unborn babys gender is?
It depends on what method you’re using to determine gender. Blood tests or amniocentesis can determine gender within the first couple weeks and are always accurate. If you’re using the traditional method of ultra sound then it’s 18-22 weeks, and if the baby is “shy” gender still may not be able to be determined. Additionally, it’s an imperfect method and wrong guesses have been made. I was told I was having a baby girl from 2 different ultrasounds. I was shocked when I gave birth to a boy! My experience is the exception to the rule, they’re usually pretty accurate. I believe most women only have one ultrasound done, unless otherwise needed, and it’s done at around 20 weeks.
