When can an injured worker consider their workers’ compensation claim settled and closed?
You can consider your claim for workers’ compensation settled only after the settlement contracts are prepared and signed by everyone involved, and approved by the appropriate commission in your state. After the above contracts are signed, you cannot claim additional benefits for those same injuries.
