All babies are different, and some are ready for stage 2 nipples sooner than other babies. He’s your baby, and you want what is best for him, so if you think he’s ready for the stage 2, then he probably is. If it is taking him forever to finish a bottle and seems to want it faster, then try a stage 2. If it is too fast for him, he’ll let you know. My babies were using stage 2 very early – they were big eaters, and wanted the formula faster. So give it a try, and good luck!
