When breeding pugs black to black?
The color of your pup depends on not only its parents, but its grandparents to. There’s really no way to tell until the pups come out. Generally they’ll throw black pups, as black, if I’m not mistaken, is a more dominant trait then fawn, but, if one of your pups’ parents came from a fawn, or both of them did, then you could very well end up with a fawn dog. If you don’t mind my asking, why does the color matter so much?? Just out of curiosity, it’s your business. Personally, I prefer the fawns, too, but I don’t think I’d request a fawn specifically, as I’ve never gotten a dog based on color.
