When blockage is 50-69 percent, will it decrease with proper diet and medicine?
Answer surgery is usually done if the narrowing is greater than 70% (but if surgery is chosen it must be done before the narrowing reaches 100%) or if it is narrowing quickly (compared to previous ultrasound scans) Once it is narrowed, diet, exercise, quitting smoking etc etc will not decrease the narrowed portions to the best of my knowledge, it has to be repaired either with surgery or an interventional radiologist.
