When bi polar sufferers are having a rant, do they mean the insults they come out with?
I dated a bi-polar man for a decade. No matter how good I was to him or for him, in the end it didn’t matter even with a great psychiatrist and counselor because he was also a pathological liar. I have met other people that are bi-polar in my life also and unfortunately they are very hard to live with and for me I had to choose my life over theirs. I could not exist in that mental world that they live in even though all I wanted to do is help fix the problem. From my own experience, if they can get mean, they can also have the ability to take it a huge step further and become violent. After 10 years the man I dated beat me up for the 1st time and the last. If you feel this person could become violent, heed this warning. Save yourself if that is what you have to do and you will know in your heart what is right.
