When BetteR Designs creates an embroidery design for me, who owns the design?
That depends. When I create a custom design for you, and charge a “TAPE CHARGE” – the charge for turning your artwork into an embroidery file – you own it. When items from my stock design collection are involved, I cannot transfer ownership to you under any conditions because the suppliers of the art and typestyles only license those elements to me for in-house work.
