When bailiff give up chasing my unpaid parking fine?
If you continue to ignore the bailiff then the local council would go to court and get a judgement against you – if the court authorise the use of bailiffs then yes they can enter your property and you do not have to be there when they do. Jail is unlikely but the judgement will be on your financial status record. They will remove any item of value ( they can’t take some items) and they will sell it toward your debts for peanuts. There bills will also be astronomical. If your appeal has been rejected you need to seek legal advise from a solicitor or citizens advise bureau about either appealing further or working out a payment plan.
