When assigning roles for security_patch_check (SPC) in ServiceControl Manager (SCM), who should I let run the Security Patch Check tool?
Users who need to be aware of security vulnerabilties on your entire network should be allowed to run security_patch_check. When security_patch_check is run within SCM it runs as root so a user will be able to run security_patch_check on all nodes in the network unless access to certain nodes is explicitly denied. See answer 4 in this section for details.
