When asked “why should we hire you” at a job interview in a rental store(hollywood, blockbuster)?
First, be sure to smile and shake the interviewer’s hand as you introduce yourself. Be sure to add, “Nice to meet you,” giving some indication of how you may act around customers. Show respect throughout the interview, but don’t grovel. Look the person interviewing you straight in the eyes and say something along the lines of….. “You should hire me because I take an intense interest in whatever I’m doing and am kind of a perfectionist in that way. I don’t do things half-way. I take pride in always being dependable when it comes to doing what’s expected of me. And I’m willing to take that extra step to do more than is required of me if that’s what it takes to make sure the job is not only done, but done well. What I don’t know now, I can learn quickly. I hope to not only do a good job for you, but for the customers because without them you wouldn’t need me. I’ll be a good, honest, hard worker.” When the interview has ended, stand up and shake the person’s hand. Say, “It was a pleasure
