Flu shot clinic will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:50 a.m. on a walk in basis.Flu shots are provided free of charge by the province for: • Students with chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, kidney disease, etc • Children age 6 months to 4 years • Health care workers and health care students • Essential workers (police, ambulance, firefighters) and their students • Poultry and swine workers • Household contacts of those at high risk of influenza complications • Pregnant women • Aboriginal peoples • Persons in residential care • Persons aged 65 years or older • People who are morbidly obese Those who do not meet provincial requirements are required to pay $15 fee. If you would like a flu shot, please come on Tuesday November 2 for the walk in flu shot clinic. For health care students the flu shot clinic will be on Thursday, October 28, 2010 in the Health Science Centre. Time and location to be announced.
