When are second kitten vaccinations due?
Repeat every three to four weeks until your kitten is sixteen weeks of age for your FVRCP( distemper, calici virus) and anytime between 12-16 wks for Rabies. If your cat is going outside you should get a leukemia vaccine as soon as possible and repeat in 3-4 wks. Some vets may recommend the AIDS vaccine as well, but there is a large controversary on the vaccine and most vets only use it when the cat is living with another cat who has aids, to make sure your other cat is safe. You may fix your cat anytime after 16 weeks if the SPCA did not already perform an early neuter or spay.
