When are on-call peer counselors trained on the IP telephone system?
After passing the exam, you will be notified via e-mail about the next steps of the training process. You will be required to fill out Y-ME’s IT department form about your at-home computer equipment and schedule sessions to shadow Y-ME peer cousnelors on Hotline calls. After the shadowing process is complete, the Y-ME IP phone, pre-programmed firewall and headset will be sent to you via UPS. Peer counselors will be contacted to schedule an installation appointment with Y-ME’s IT department.
