Elections for Councilmembers and the Mayor are held in even-numbered years — on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. The next City election will be held November 2, 2010 and the voters will elect Councilmembers for Wards 2, 4, 6 and the Mayor. In November 2012, Wards 1, 3, 5 and the Mayor’s seat will be up for election.
