WHEN ARE CLASSES HELD?
Classes at Wesley-Rankin Community Center are held during the year in two, sixteen-week terms. The first term begins in August and ends in December the fall term. The second term begins in January and ends in May the spring term. Classes are held Monday-Wednesday from 10am to 1:00pm; however, class days and times may vary per term. Call to enroll and find out exact class days and times. In the summer, class times are revised and are held one evening a week and on some Saturdays. Students are welcome to continue from one term to the next or to begin studying in the summer and phasing into the fall term at the end of August. In addition, most public libraries hold GED classes free of charge on one or two week nights per week. Check with the library closest to your home and see if classes are available. Students are encouraged to attend more than one program at a time. This will enable students wishing to test early to become prepared for the examination in a shorter amount of time. Back
