All construction projects of a value of $500 or more shall require a permit. NO PERMIT IS NEEDED, outside the Historic District regardless of value, on construction projects that are non-structural like-kind replacement and/or repair of windows, doors and siding. All exterior projects in the Historic District, whether or not exempted from a building permit under the above , still require a certificate of approval in accordance to Chapter 21.62. The certificate is received through the Department of Planning and Zoning.
