When applying my authorization code, I’m receiving an “Invalid Feature Code <5X> in Position 1 & 2… Control Record 5X must be 1st non-comment record” error. What should I do?

This error is caused by product-type differences between the installed software and the license key (i.e. — attempting to apply a PKZIP license to SecureZIP, or vice versa). License key and program product types must be identical.
