When applying for Canadian citizenship, questions about travelling?

For trips to the US the CIC recommends you enter the estimated dates in the calculator, print it out and attach a note indicating you don’t know the exact dates and have estimated. Your best bet is to estimate your absence on the high side and indicate this in your note. If you’re still above 1095 days there shouldn’t be an issue; if you’re less than that a citizenship judge will need to make a determination in any case.
