Geodon is an atypical antipsychotic (the one that causes the least amount of weight gain). It depends on the condition, it is commonly used to treat paranoia, schizophrenia, and other severe symptoms. But its also commonly used to enhance the effect of an antidepressant and increase the amount of insight and rational thinking of a patient with different phobias or anxieties.
