Australian Federal Government policy advises that Citizenship ceremonies be held by Local Government Councils at regular intervals, Councils should arrange ceremonies to be held at least every 2-3 months regardless of no. of candidates waiting for process. Candidates should be encouraged to participate in public ceremonies wherever possible.
