Probably the best thing for you to do would be to either buy a copy and find out yourself, or go to their website www.economist.com and try a few of their articles. Technically, they are a newspaper not a magazine. For their history and background, use the wikipedia article on them (in fact, for almost everything, use the wikipedia article on it). The Economist helps people almost not at all in ‘investing in different things’, as this is not its focus. As it is a newspaper it simply reports news from all around the world, on all manner of subjects – although unlike most newspapers it also offers its own (sometimes very in-depth) analysis of the issues.
