When an interruption occurs, when does my 3100 PQNode/PQPager call me when power is interrupted, or when it is restored?
Assuming that you have set the UPS time to 2 minutes or longer, and the outage lasts at least 60 seconds, your 3100 will initiate one call when the outage begins, and then another one (“Power restored. Interruption duration xx seconds [or xx minutes]”) when the outage ends. If you have set the UPS time to less than 2 minutes, your 3100 will initiate a call at the end of the interruption that includes the interruption duration. If the interruption was shorter than 10 minutes, the duration is reported in seconds. If it was longer than 10 minutes, but less than 10 hours, it is reported in minutes. If it was longer than 10 hours, the duration is not reported (presumably, this happened because the instrument was being installed or moved). (This is actually a slight oversimplification — the user can set the minimum duration and minimum voltag
