when a young Russian guy says he wants only a “good girl” to date /marry, what does he mean by that?
what he wants is someone who hasn’t slept around like he has, someone who has little experience so he can feel like he is the one in charge….it is quite the stereotypical guy thing. If he hasn’t learned yet that even if he finds this fantasy girl-child, she will grow up eventually…whereas he seems to reside firmly in Peter Pan land…he is not ready to be on the marriage market. This is one of the reasons so many marriages end in divorce. One partner grows up, the other never does. If you are considering this guy as a marriage prospect or even as someone to match up with one of your friends, perhaps you should look elsewhere for a man mature enough to want a partner, not a child-bride. Someone who can see that a “good girl” is not the criteria for a good marriage. Sometimes, it is the one who was a “wild child” but learned a new morality from experience who makes a better prospect.
