When a user executes a virtual application using App-V, what are the licensing requirements for the application and the operating system?
Use of the application with App-V does not change the need to comply with the license terms for that application. You should review the license terms for your application software, and take steps to ensure compliance with those terms. For example, Microsoft desktop applica¬tions are generally licensed per device. Each desktop on, or from which the software is used or accessed, must be licensed. App-V virtualiza¬tion does not provide a way to transform licenses into other forms, concurrent or otherwise.
