When a divorce is final can a man demand that the ex can no longer use his name?
I did actually read about a chap who was having a divorce and he said that when he married her she took and he gave her his name, and in the divorce court he had applied that she give him his name back and revert to her single name and I can’t remember what happened.. I suppose if there are children involved you can’t start having mothers names differ from their childrens.. but if there were no children why would you want to keep you ex husbands name anyway, unless it had any benefit like booking hotels and stuff………..I think it is so easy to get your name changed by deed pole anyway you could call yourself what ever you wanted…
