When a buyer places items in a shopping cart, how long is it available for them purchase before the shopping cart is disabled?
Shopping carts are purged 30 minutes from the buyer’s last access to the cart. The buyer may add and remove items from your shopping cart, and the items will remain in the cart until 30 minutes has elapsed or the buyer completes the purchase by going to Checkout – whichever comes first. It is important to note that although a buyer has added an item to your shopping cart, the quantity has not yet been allocated to that buyer. The quantity is only allocated to the buyer once they have begun the Checkout process. If the quantity they have added to your shopping cart is no longer available at the time of Checkout, the buyer will receive a warning to reduce the quantity or remove the item(s) from their cart as the requested quantity is no longer available.
