Whats yur favorite Misfits tune?
I share your opinion, Jeffrey. I do not have an issue with the post-Danzig Misfits. In fact, I think the band retained its spirit while Glen was off doing plastic surgery, getting decked for being arrogant, putting together Samhain-cum-Danzig, directing really lame, wannabe goth Playboy playmates in really boring music videos that are neither gothic, erotic nor entertaining, then he got into poor quality comics and fancied himself a composer, and then finally breaking down to do entire sets of Misfits songs just to lure people into buying tickets on his recent tours. Still, he created the ‘fits and it wholly justifies all of the lesser stuff he wandered into once he hit the bricks. While I don’t think post-Danzig ‘fits hold a candle to the original in terms of putting out slabs where just about every song was killer, the Graves era ‘fits had enough good stuff going on to shake the stigma. I love the Misfits enough to have the crimson ghost permanently etched into my own flesh. Perhaps
