Whats wrong with the movie, “The Passion of the Christ”: Should Christians support and see this movie?

It s the new movie directed by Mel Gibson “The Passion of the Christ” about the last twelve hours of Christ’s life. Spoken in Aramaic and Latin with sub-titles. Mel produced the movie (25 million estimated to make) with his own money. Please let me say, I’m not against the passion, crucifixion, suffering or resurrection of our Lord Jesus. I affirm those essentials with my whole heart. That is not what’s in question. I’m not one of these that are against it for the supposed anti-Semitic message. Nor am I against it because I oppose movies, or that I’m ashamed of the message of the cross not at all. My reasons will be clear. For those that would ask well did you see the movie?
