JOHANNESBURG, Dec 12: Ace leg-spinner Anil Kumble is delighted to be back in the Indian One-day squad but he has no hesitation in accepting that it isn’t an older man’s game anymore. “It’s definitely a young man’s game now,” he said, shortly after a training session here on Tuesday afternoon. As the sun belted down on the Wanderers and the countdown for the first Test began, he added, “but we have to remember that experience counts too.” Kumble, India’s leading bowler and unrivalled match-winner, lost his place in this format when coach Greg Chappell embarked on a mission to blood and groom youngsters. After an amazing spell in the initial stages, however, India have slipped embarrassingly. That has allowed Kumble and VVS Laxman, two special players but with one-dimensional skills, to get back into the squad. While Laxman has played only one match since his return and managed only a duck, Kumble has slipped in quite effectively. He agreed that the forthcoming World Cup was the driving
