Whats wrong with the English language that jesus and his disciples spoke ?
The trouble is that the beautiful English that Jesus spoke got progressively mangled by frequent texting between himself and his disciples (in the days when mobile phones, understandingly enough, weren’t up to much) and ended up as an weird Jewish tongue called Aramaic. The Roman church couldn’t understand this, so they invented their own stuff in Latin.
