Whats wrong with the dishwasher?
First of all go to your local supermarket and get a Dishwasher Cleaner, you’ll find it with all the dishwasher powders. You put it in and run the dishwasher while it’s empty and that might help. You then need to look under the filter and make sure any small drain holes are not blocked and then the dishwasher waste pipe it’self, pull the machine out and you’ll see the (usually grey) pipe which hooks over an upright waste. (The pipe screwed onto the machine and onto a brass pipe is the filler so leave that alone) Look down the pipe for any rubbish and into the other pipe attatched to wall too if you can. Finally don’t discount there could be a blockage in the drain itself somewhere so have a check at the drain end pipe outside too. If none of these tips work it’s more than likely the dishwasher it’self, the pump, internal blockage, etc and it’s time to get a professional in. Remember you can buy a brand new one with guarentee for less than £150 so don’t go spending a fortune on a repair.
