Whats wrong with Picturesque?
In lieu of the proposed slogan, “Be… in this place Être… ici on le peut” (42 spaces required on the plate), I would suggest the following: Picturesque Province Pittoresque (32 spaces). The same word, spelled differently, better illustrates our bilingualism. There is no need for explanations, the wording of the slogan being clear in itself.
