Whats wrong with my perfectly matching colors?
The powder goes everywhere! That’s right, even just using a little but of the eyeshadow on my brush, I get powder everywhere – all over the Quad itself, the brushes, my lids, my face, you name it. Very quickly my oh so pretty colors turn chalky on me. I hated how this looked on my eyes, even though I liked the shades themselves – and after only a few uses stopped using my Hard Candy Eye Shadow Quartet all together. It seemed more like a pain than anything, and I wasn’t happy with the look. It looked, to me, like colored chalk up on my lids, and nothing like how it seemed like it was supposed to. While the colors were noticeable they looked not even remotely smooth up on my lids. It looked dense and, to me, like I couldn’t quite “get it right.” Having quite a few other eyeshadow individuals, sets, and another “palette” to play with – the Hard Candy Eye Shadow Quartet had to go. Do I recommend this product? No. I don’t plan to buy again, though I like the idea of getting 4 color choices
