Whats wrong with doing scenario training?
Nothing if, for instance, you are a law enforcement officer who wants to work frequent types of encounters. Even then you cant train for every possible violent scenario. Theres a reason its called random violence and not predictable violence. Sportfighters know that its the attributes of a fighter that work in a fight, not the 1000s of scenarios youve drilled. A good punch or takedown will work in any situation you come across whereas a scenario that is practiced only a few times wont.
