Whats Wrong in Gambling?
There are forms of gambling that are legal in some countries while in others, are not. Illegal gambling is a crime and is punishable by law. In Colorado, internet gambling is illegal; in many places like Hawaii, cockfighting is prohibited because of its cruelty to animals. Illegal gambling is greatly associated with organized crime. Some illegal gambling is operated and ran by mobs. What is the nature of gambling? Is gambling really a sin that is why it is banned in so many countries? In countries with large Catholic population, gambling is viewed as sinful. Gambling is bad because it is illegal. If we legalize gambling, does that mean that it’s not bad anymore? Illegal gambling has large profits, but does not pay taxes. Lotteries are not illegal because they pay taxes, and casinos as well.
