Whats with the rectangle buttons on the Edit toolbar?

Use the rectangle buttons on the Edit toolbar to choose whether the edited picture should stay in portrait aspect or be cropped to landscape aspect. Then pinch, spread and/or drag the picture to choose the portion to keep. The app runs more slowly when I’m using the back camera. Yes it does. The back camera on the iPhone 4 takes hi-res 5 megapixel pictures while the front camera takes VGA res 0.3 megapixel pics. The iPhone’s CPU takes longer to process the 16 times as many pixels from the back camera. OTOH, you get a higher res final pic, so it’s worth the wait.
