Whats with the Reading Log?
Reading is one of the most critical skills that a child can learn. To become a strong reader daily practice is a necessity. All second graders are expected to read at least an average of 60 minutes a week. Please have the student’s log their daily minutes on the back of their homework log and turned in on Fridays. The key here is to develop a positive routine of literacy both at school and at home.
