Whats with the pop ups and JavaScript?
Although not necessary, activating JavaScript is useful for the site. The tutorial is intended for beginners, who will find many unfamiliar terms. Therefore, I have created a glossary of these terms and they appear as normal links. If JavaScript is enabled and you move your mouse over the text, a pop-up will appear with the definition. The definition will also appear in the status line at the bottom of the screen, but that is limited in size. The popups for the glossary terms are created using the overLib JavaScript library. Note that overLib does not work correctly with the Konqueror browser prior to version 3.0Beta2 or after 3.1 and seems to have problems with Internet Explorer 6. If you don’t want to activate JavaScript, you can simply click on the link and a new window will open up with the definition.
