WHATS WITH THE GUN STUFF?

0

Okay, Tom here. I’ve always been a shooter. I like the mechanical aspect of guns. The first gun actions were made by locksmiths because the workings were so complicated. Hence, the “lock” in “lock, stock and barrel.” Shooting is a mental game. It’s an individual challenge to focus, to concentrate, to eliminate distractions, and to hit the bullseye or break the clay target. While it can be done as a team sport, generally, shooting is an individual activity. There are many types of guns, from shotguns to rifles to handguns. Within those broad categories, there are hundreds of sub-classes. Of course, there are many types of hunting, dozens of competitive shooting games, and then there’s the most common reason for owning guns — self defense.
